Premiere Dalton McGuinty was the guest of honour at the PIDC dinner last June 10, 2011 at the Le Jardin hall. He took the time to pose at every table. The last time an organization did that to a politician, he left after 5 tables. I cannot remember the organization or the politician. If I was to guess why the Premiere and his handlers were being very accommodating, it was probably the result of the just-concluded federal election where the Liberal party was reduced to a few seats and the NDP became the official opposition party. It will not be long and he will dethrone PC Minister of Immigration Jason Kenney for the cheesy title of "King of Multiculturalism."
